The UW-Platteville track and field teams tuned up for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships by winning six events at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational Saturday.
The men registered four wins during the meets where no team scores were kept.
Ben Zizis captured the 110-meter hurdles in 14.58, and Adam Buss won the 800 in 1:59.17, while both male relay teams posted wins. The 4x100 won in 43.25 and the 4x400 in 3:27.13.
Lindsey Vick won the women's 800-meter run in 2:22.14, and Alison Ross won the hurdles in 1:06.49.
Over at Hillsdale, Mich., Emma Dreis led the Pioneers in the 41st Gina Relays. Dreis was third in the 1,500 (4:36.52), while Jessica Scott was fifth in the 3,000 steeplechase (11:07.46), Tyler Sigl ninth in the 10,000 (30:03.02), and Kyle Stangel 23rd in the 1,500 (4:00.04).
Marcia Taddy competes Sunday at Stanford University.
The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships are Friday and Saturday at UW-River Falls.
