Taddy is fourth best in USA
UW-Platteville's Marcia Taddy compiled the fourth-best time in the 1,000 meters--and third fastest by a collegiate runner--during the 2007 indoor track season.
Taddy ran a 2:47.37 in UWP's Williams Fieldhouse. Her mark was surpassed only by runners from the Reebok Racing Team, Villanova and Cornell, according to Track and Field News.
