
The UW-Platteville track and field teams will be well represented by three males and three females at the NCAA Division III national championships Thursday through Saturday at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.
Marcia Taddy, the reigning outdoor 800-meter and indoor mile champion, will compete in both the 800 and 1,500 runs. She currently has the third-fastest times in the country in both events with a 2:10.62 time in the 800 and 4:28.75 in the 1,500.
Jackie Mulrooney is making her third trip to outdoor nationals in as many years. She is ranked seventh in the 5,000-meter run at 17:07.27. Carrie Morschauser is returning to outdoor nationals in the high jump, where she ranks ninth with a best jump of 5-7.
Tyler Sigl is also making a repeat trip to nationals. The sophomore is ranked 15th in the 5,000-meter run at 14:39.92. He has qualified for nationals now every season for two straight years, making trips in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.
Cam Klein and Nathan Wells are joining their teammates at Benedictine University by making their inaugural trips to nationals. Klein is ranked 11th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 9:14.02, while Wells is 12th in the decathlon.
