Tera Burr earned all-region honors

UW-Platteville second baseman Tera Burr earned Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association all-Great Lakes Region second team honors.

The junior from Shawano earned all-region honors for the second time in three years. She broke Pioneer game, season and career records in 2008. She had five hits against UW-Stout and her 39 runs scored and 12 home runs were new single-season marks. After just three seasons, Burr is already UW-Platteville's career leading in batting average (.441), doubles (32) and home runs (21).

This season, Burr hit .438 and led the WIAC in slugging percentage at .943.
