UW-Platteville lost its northern openers Saturday, falling 5-2 and 7-6 at Beloit College.
The Buccaneers' Angie Meehan hit a one-out single in the eighth inning to score Katelyn Rynders with the winning run in the second game, completing the sweep.
The Pioneers led 4-0 before the Bucs rallied for six runs in the sixth. UWP knotted the score at 6-6 on two walks and a pair of errors.
Tera Burr had three hits in the second game, while Becky Swanson had a double. Lindsay Weigand paced the Pioneers in the opener with a pair of hits.
Beloit improved to 3-6 while the Pioneers fell to 3-9 on the young season.
The Pioneers play at Wartburg Tuesday at 2 p.m. and then have their home opener Thursday at 3 p.m. vs. Loras.
