Maggie Digman leads the WIAC in HRs

UW-Platteville's Maggie Digman earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball player of the week award.

Digman, a senior outfielder from Dickeyville (Cuba City), had a first inning three-run home run and a second inning grand slam, propelling UW-Platteville to a 22-4 win over University of Dubuque on April 5. She finished the game with four hits and eight RBIs, one shy of the school record. In the doubleheader, she was five-for-nine with five runs scored, a double, two home runs and nine RBIs.

Digman leads the WIAC with six home runs.
