UW-Platteville's Tera Burr earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball player of the week honors after leading the Pioneers to a sweep of Loras May 29.

The sophomore second baseman from Shawano went 7-9 (.778) with two home runs and four runs scored. She homered to lead off the first game, leading the Pioneers to a 7-6 win. In the second contest, her home run in the bottom of the eighth tied the score at 9-9, and the Pioneers went on to win 11-9. Burr raised her season batting average to a league-leading .556. She leads the WIAC in batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.

The Pioneers' scheduled game at UW-Oshkosh Tuesday was postponed by weather. UW-Platteville will open conference play in Oshkosh on Monday, April 9.
