UW-Stevens Point remained undefeated in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play after beating UW-Platteville 4-0 Thursday night in Pioneer Stadium.

Vicki Bieschke scored twice in the first 12:49 for the Pointers, who improved to 23-0-1 all-time against UWP. Kirsti Nickels added a goal in the 66th minute, and Sam Greer scored with just under two minutes remaining.

The Pointers used their team speed to keep UWP away from the goal. The Pioneers, who had long runs but were not able to control the ball in front of the Pointer net, were held to just two shots, and none on goal. UWSP had 24 shots, and Pioneer keeper Kaitlyn Wiedeman made 10 saves.

The Pointers are now 7-3-1 overall and 5-0 in the WIAC, while the Pioneers fell to 6-7-2, 2-4-1.
