Both Anna Strasser and Sarah Gengler were credited with assists on Miller's first goal at the 20:33 mark. Six minutes later, Gengler fed Miller for another goal and the 2-0 lead.
The Pioneers improved to 8-9-2 overall, while St. Mary's fell to 8-7-1.
UWP is now 7-0-1 when scoring two goals or more in a game.
Seniors Gengler, Kim Schneckloth and Amber Taylor will play their final Pioneer games Wednesday at 5 p.m. vs. the University of Dubuque in Pioneer Stadium.
