| The Pioneers deny a UWRF corner-kick attempt |

UW-Platteville and UW-River Falls battled to a 0-0 double-overtime tie in the Pioneers' home finale Saturday night.
The Pioneers are now 3-8-4 overall and 1-3-1 in the Wiscon, while the Falcons are 2-9-3, 1-2-2.
Both teams had chances to win, but Laurie Trifone stopped nine shots for the Pioneers, and UWRF goalkeeper Emily Stieler turne back four attempts on goal.
UW-Platteville saluted five seniors before the game: Laurie and Katie Trifone, Amanda Metcalfe, Abby Genske and Paula Duerst.
UWP returns to action Sunday at Clarke College, with a 1 p.m. kickoff.
