Dustin Wiskes

UW-Platteville's Dustin Wiskes earned the first Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference soccer defensive player of the week award.

Wiskes, a sophomore defender from Oregon, helped UW-Platteville to a pair of wins, 6-0 over Northland International on Sept. 4, and 6-1 against Bethany Lutheran College on Sept. 5. The coaching staff credited Wiskes with consistent play throughout the weekend.

The 2-0 Pioneers play at 2-0 Loras tonight (Wednesday) at 7:30 p.m. The Duhawks are ranked fourth nationally, while the Pioneers are ranked sixth in the region.
