Back-to-back road trips and a red-hot Wartburg team were too much for UW-Platteville to overcome, as the host Knights posted a 3-0 men's soccer victory Thursday night.

Wartburg won its 10th straight game, improving to 13-2-1 overall. The Pioneers, who came back from Decorah to Platteville late Wednesday night after beating the Norse 1-0 in overtime, fell to 10-6-1.

Josh Urban had a goal four minutes into the game and later added an assist to lead Wartburg.

The Pioneers put their undefeated (4-0) home record on the line Sunday when they entertain Finlandia (Mich.) at 1 p.m. Prior to the game, Tommy Pruszka, Andrew Pustina, Devin Wallace and Jason Vockrodt will be honored on Senior Day.
