UW-Whitewater ended UW-Platteville's undefeated start to the season at a school-record 10 games, as the Warhawks beat the Pioneers 4-0 Wednesday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
Nathan Haas and Matthew Gehn scored on laser shots 1:37 apart early in the first half, both from more than 25 yards out. The score stayed that way until the final eight minutes, when Haas scored twice off rebound shots taken by Jason Blocker.
The Pioneers fell to 10-1, while the Warhawks improved to 7-2-1.
