Pioneer teams set to play in Spain

Join the UW-Platteville men's and women's soccer teams for an 11-day trip to Spain in 2006.

The Pioneers will travel together May 22nd through May 31st and compete in two soccer games in Seville.

The Eastern Europe trip is open th the entire UW-Platteville community. The cost for students is $2,200 and for other travelers $2,500. The Pioneers will not only go to Spain and play soccer, they also have planned many other attactions to see.

This trip will be a very educational, social, and cultual experience as well as the opportunity to participate in international competition.

Throughout the trip there will be many places visited including: Malaga, Torremolinos and Costa del Sol, Granada, the Alhambra Palace, Seville and UWP's Spanish-American Institute, Maria Luisa Park, Giralda Tower and Cathedral; Cordoba and the mosque; and Madrid, with the Prado Museum, Retiro Park, and the Royal Palace as well as Toledo, home of El Greco.
