In a battle of undefeated teams, Aurora University defeated UW-Platteville 3-1 in men's soccer Wednesday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The Spartans improved to 6-0 overall, while dropping the Pioneers to 4-1-1.
Jody Hall had a pair of goals to pace Aurora, including the game's only first-half goal.
Ben Terpening scored for the Pioneers with 30 minutes to play, taking a feed from Alex Albright and dribbling up the middle before firing a shot.
As would be expected between undefeated teams, the shots were almost even with Aurora having 15 to the Pioneers' 13. Both UWP keeper Scott Brabender and Aurora's Jeff Bishop made two saves.
