UW-Platteville cornerback Quincy Hudson earned Defensive Player of the Week honors in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Hudson, a senior from Milwaukee (Bay View High Shool), had two interceptions and made five solo stops during UW-Platteville's 28-20 victory at the University of Dubuque on Sept. 12.  His first pick came in the end zone, helping preserve a 7-0 Pioneer lead.  Hudson also sealed the game with his second interception, making the theft at the Platteville 45 and returning it 38 yards with 21 seconds remaining.

It marked the third multi-interception game of Hudson's career. The 2-0 Pioneers play at Augustana (Ill.) Saturday at 6 p.m.
