The Battle of the Bridge resumes in 2009 for the UW-Platteville football team, while the Pioneers face two of the four current NCAA III semifinalists during the 2010 campaign, the school announced today.

The Pioneers open the 2009 campaign with Buena Vista (Iowa) making its first-ever visit to the Butch Leitl Field at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium on Sept. 5. UWP then resumes its Battle of the Bridge series after a two-year layoff with the University of Dubuque.
