UW-Platteville's Tyler Sigl earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week award.
Sigl (Sr., Seymour) was third overall and first among four-year collegiate runners at the St. Olaf (Minn.) Invitational, covering the 8,000-meter race in 25:43. He led the Pioneers to second place out of 27 teams on the course where the NCAA Division III championship will be held.
Sigl has been honored five times in his career as the cross country athlete of the week.
The Pioneers return to action Friday at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational.
