UW-Platteville's Tyler Sigl earned the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference runner of the week.
Sigl, a sophomore from Seymour, won the 411-man Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota on September 24 at Les Bolstad Golf Course. He claimed the NCAA Division II and III race, which featured 42 teams. Sigl covered the 8,000-meter course in 25:12, edging two runners from South Dakota for the title. His performance helped the Pioneers place ninth overall and fifth among NCAA III teams.
