Welcome to the UW-Platteville Pioneer Cheerleading Program.

It's a whole new year for the UW-Platteville Cheer & Stunt Team. Following an extremely busy and successful year of games, competitions and performances, the program graduated 7 seniors opening the door for a whole new generation of Pioneers.

The team is made up of 20 full-time students, (12 or more credits) in good standing in the university. This year, under the direction of Coach Patti Mitch the team has 20 members for the Football season and 17 members for the Basketball and Competition squads.

Throughout the year members of the Squad cheer for home football and basketball games as well as some away games. They also participate in Alumni functions, Pep Rallies and Homecoming events, including the homecoming parade and the annual Homecoming Yell Volleyball game. The squads also participate in community service activities such as the Project Holiday Auction, Relay for Life, fund raising for the squad through the 50/50 raffle and other events, and are active members of PSSAC and the O Zone.
