Assistant Women’s Basketball
Coach /Admissions Advisor

Will serve as assistant coach in the women’s
basketball program. Duties
include, but are not limited to, coaching, recruiting qualified student
athletes, fund raising, camp operations, scouting and film breakdown,
developing community support for the program, monitoring academic progress of
student-athletes and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Will also serve as an Admissions Advisor responsible for
identifying and recruiting students to the university working as a member of the
Admissions staff. Significant travel required. Must
have the ability to work closely with high school students, parents, school
counselors and campus academic departments and support services.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred. Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience on the high school/collegiate level or collegiate playing experience required. Coaching and/or playing experience in women’s basketball preferred. Transferable or related experience for the skills required for this position. Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent written and oral skills, knowledge of computer applications, organizational abilities, event planning and project management, fund raising and recruiting ability and demonstrated commitment or experience working with racially diverse populations. Must be able to work weekends/evenings and travel.
