UW-Platteville's Holly Kaiser was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V Second Team.

The junior forward from Hazel Green. is majoring in Biology/Pre-Physical Therapy with a minor in French.

Kaiser boasts career highs in several games this season, including 13 rebounds and 12 points in a 59-45 win over UW-Superior and 20 points and 7 rebounds vs. St. Ambrose. Kaiser is third in the WIAC in scoring with 13.3 points per game and is among the top ten players in the conference in field goal percentage and offensive rebounds. She made the All-Tournament Team at the eight-team Clarke College Holiday Tournament while leading the Pioneers to the team title, defeating 14-0 Concordia.

Kaiser is an academic leader as well, making the Dean's List all 5 of her semesters at UWP, a UW-Platteville Academic National Student Athlete Day Honoree, and a member of Beta Beta Beta honor society.

District V is comprised of any non-Division One school in Indiania, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
