Lisa Wubben made UW-Platteville's women's basketball history Saturday when she recorded the program's first-ever "triple-double" at Edgewood.
Wubben, a junior forward from Kieler (Southwestern High School) recorded 23 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in leading the Pioneers to a 94-92 double overtime victory.
No Pioneer had ever totaled 10 or more in three statistical categories before Wubben's stellar effort in Madison. Fourteen double-digit performances have been recorded in assists before Saturday, one in steals (Jackie Clary in 1995) and one in blocks (Pam Soman in 1987), but none of those players ever added at least 10 points and 10 rebounds in the same game.
