An open house for UW-Platteville fans to see the renovated seating around the Bo Ryan Court in Williams Fieldhouse is set for this Friday, Oct. 2, 5-7 p.m.

The new chairback seats will be labeled with the names of the men's basketball season ticket holders, so boosters will be able to see their seating arrangements prior to the season.

The new seating costs $574,000 and replaces the 47-year-old bleachers that were installed when Williams Fieldhouse was built. With striking blue and orange colors, the new arrangements features 11 rows of 46 chairback seats on one side with additional bleacher seating above it. The other side is all bleacher seating with a large orange UWP integrated into the blue seats on the other side. The arrangments feature wider aisles and better hand-rails, 16 ADA wheelchair-seating spaces, and a larger video platform.

Men's basketball season tickets will be ready for distribution at the Meet the Pioneers Night, Oct. 30.
