Tickets are now on sale in the Athletic Department Office for UW-Platteville's conference semifinal men's basketball playoff .
The 21-4 Pioneers earned a first-round bye and will play host to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference semifinal contest Thursday at 7 p.m. If third-seeded UW-Whitewater beats UW-River Falls Tuesday, the Pioneers will face the Warhawks. If the Falcons spring the upset, UWRF will travel to top-seeded UW-Stevens Point and then the Pioneers will get the winner of the UW-Oshkosh at UW-Eau Claire game.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $3 for students. Season-ticket holders may purchase their normal seats for the game. Students must present a valid ID and are limited to one $3 ticket per ID. Any student who wishes to purchase additional tickets will be charged the $7 price for the extra tickets.
Tickets are on sale in the UW-Platteville Athletic Department Ticket Office, located in Williams Fieldhouse, Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again Thursday at 5:30 p.m. outside the Bo Ryan Court doors.
The winner of the WIAC post-season tournament earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III playoffs.
