UW-Platteville's Jeff Skemp Jeff Skemp surpassed Rob Jeter for eighth place on the Pioneers' all-time scoring list.

With 20 points in the fourth-ranked Pioneers' 55-52 win at fifth-ranked UW-Stevens Point Saturday, Skemp now has 1,396 career points. Jeter totaled 1,387 in 1987-91.

Jeter is now UW-Milwaukee's head basketball coach. His Panthers faced Saul Phillips' North Dakota State team in Saturday night's ESPN Bracket Buster game in Milwaukee. Both Jeter and Phillips are former UW-Platteville players who went on to become Bo Ryan assistants. Will Ryan, Bo's oldest son, is on Phillips' staff, and the former voice of the Pioneers, Kevin O'Connor, is UW-Milwaukee's sports information director. It is believed to be the first-ever NCAA Division I coaching matchup of UWP alumni.
