The University of Wisconsin-Platteville held on to the fourth spot in the D3hoops.com rating, but the two WIAC teams sandwitched around the Pioneers flipped.

UW-Whitewater, which beat both UWP and UW-Stevens Point last week, moved up to third, and the Pointers dropped to fifth. St. Thomas and Wash. U. continued to hold down the top two spots.

All three Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams are 20-3 overall, with UWSP holding a one-game lead in the conference race. The Pointers are 13-1 in league play, while the Pioneers and Warhawks are 12-2 heading into the final week of the regular season.

The trio of contenders faces tough road challenges Wednesday, with UW-Platteville playing at UW-Eau Claire, UW-Stevens Point at UW-La Crosse, and UW-Whitewater at UW-Oshkosh. The regular season concludes Saturday with the Pioneers visiting the Pointers at 3 p.m. UWW closes at UW-River Falls.

Spots still remain on the fan bus for Saturday's game in Stevens Point. Call the athletic department at 608.342.1567 for more information.
