The undefeated UW-Platteville men's basketball team moved up to fifth place in this week's D3hoops.com poll.
The Pioneers are 6-0 for the first time since 1999-2000. They open Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday at UW-Superior at 1 p.m.
UWP, UW-Whitewater (second) and UW-Stevens Point (seventh) give the WIAC three of the top seven teams in the national D3hoops.com poll.
The D3hoops.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, Sports Information Directors and media members from across the country, and has been published weekly since 1998.
