UW-Platteville's Charlie Lohoff earned one of five spots on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for his performances in two Pioneer victories.
The senior from Oshkosh (North) scored 10 points in an 83-54 win over UW-Eau Claire Dec. 10 and 24 in a 69-62 win at UW-River Falls Dec. 13. He connected on 11 of 16 shots (68.8 percent), including six of 11 three-point attempts (54.5), as well as all six free-throw attempts. He also grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out nine assists and made three steals with just three turnovers in 73 minutes at the point guard position. Lohoff hit a key three-point basket with 42 seconds to play at River Falls that gave the Pioneers a 67-62 lead.
He is the second Pioneer to earn national honors this season, as Jeff Skemp was honored after leading the Pioneers to three victories in Indiana the week after Thanksgiving.
Lohoff, Skemp and fellow seniors Bo Richter and Kyle Tetschlag lead the 9-0 Pioneers into Saturday's battle with 7-2 University of Dubuque. Tip-off is 1 p.m. on Bo Ryan Court.
