| The Pioneers made 26-27 from the line |
UW-Platteville established a new men's basketball school record for free throw accuracy in Saturday's 89-51 victory over Loras College.
The Pioneers connected on 26-27 free throws (96.3 percent) against the Duhawks, breaking the old mark of 25-26 (96.2) set against UW-Eau Claire on Dec. 12, 1987. Both those games, incidentally, featured strings of 21 consecutive free throws made. (The NCAA does not officially track most consecutive free throws by a team, so no records are kept of that statistic.)
