STERLING, Va. -- UW-Platteville moved up five spots to 17th in the D3hoops.com poll after a week in which the Pioneers beat then-number 20 UW-Oshkosh 71-55 and won at UW-River Falls 71-60.

The Pioneers are 15-4 overall and tied with UW-Whitewater atop the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with 9-2 records. The Warhawks are ranked fourth nationally, while UW-Stevens Point is 11th and UW-Oshkosh 24th.

Amherst returned to the No. 1 for the first time since the poll taken through games of Dec. 2, 2007.
