UPDATED May 2, 2008

Both the UW-Platteville baseball and softball teams have pushed their scheduled Friday games back because of the 90 percent chance of rain tomorrow.

The Pioneer baseball team now closes its home schedule Sunday (at 1 p.m.) and Monday (at noon) against UW-Oshkosh. UWP is tied for fourth in the conference race, and the top four teams make the playoffs. The Titans are one game behind UW-Whitewater for first place.

The entire Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball tournament has been pushed back to Saturday and Sunday at UW-Stevens Point. The seventh-seeded Pioneers face second-seeded UW-Oshkosh at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Pioneers beat the Titans 2-1 on April 3, with the second game rained out.

The WIAC outdoor track and field championships will go on as scheduled Friday and Saturday at UW-Eau Claire.
