UW-Platteville and Huntingdon were postponed Wednesday night by severe Alabama weather, but on Thursday morning, the Pioneers still could not weather the storm.

Huntingdon scored 14 runs in the first two innings and cruised to a 17-5 victory. Taylor Files hit two home runs, and the Hawks took advantage of seven Pioneer errors. Huntingdon won its seventh straight, improving to 10-11 overall.

Lee Hawkins had three hits, and Mike Flood had two while driving in three runs for the Pioneers, who fell to 5-4. UWP plays at LaGrange, Ga. later Thursday then finishes its trip at Piedmont.
