Phillip Stoll pitched a complete-game four-hitter in the opener, while Tyler Shalbot and Brian Kostock combined for the second-game win.

The Pioneer run came in the third inning on a pair of Westminster errors. Catcher Aaron Ciaburri scored from third when the home team threw the ball away trying to pick off Derrick Rice.
