UW-Platteville has selected five finalists for its men's basketball/lecturer position from the initial pool of 97 applicants.

The five, in alphabetical order, are:

• Todd Adrian, Edgewood College Head Coach
• Jeff Gard, UW-Platteville Assistant Coach
• Pat Murphy, Monroe High School Coach
• Lance Randall, Cedarburg High School Coach
• Will Ryan, North Dakota Assistant Coach

UWP is replacing Paul Combs, who left after six years to move on to NCAA Division II Wayne State following the Pioneers' 23-6 season.
