UW-Platteville's Curt Hanson earned another preseason all-American honor, this time by Basketball Times. Hanson was previously accorded a spot on the The Sporting News College Basketball Preview honor squad.

The senior from Deerfield, Ill. is a two-time all-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference first team selection. Last season, he averaged 13.9 points per game and made 40.6 percent of his three-point shot attempts.

Hanson is 13 three-point baskets away from 194 and surpassing Merrill Brunson (1996-2000) as the Pioneer career record holder.

UW-Platteville begins the 2009-10 season Nov. 17 at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa, at 7:30 p.m.
