student's unique approach to the application of his or her understanding of visual literacy. This is a semester
long exploration of topics including evaluation, theory, description and interpretation in the medium of digital

Leslee Nelson's Memory Cloths are textile interpretations of her revelations and spiritual discoveries,
inspired by South African Memory Cloths. Ms. Nelson has transformed memories from her own life into images she
embroiders on vintage textiles, in keeping with her motto, Making the wondrous real.
