The next show in the Performing Arts Series is the The Center for the Arts (CFA) provides a professional performing arts environment for students to learn about the arts through performances and classroom experience. Quality, professional performances are produced all year long by the UW-Platteville Department of Performing and Visual Arts.
The CFA also hosts other events including campus orientations, Pioneer Previews, and Campus Programming and Relations sponsored events such as comedians, speakers, hypnotists, and musical performances. Over 160 major events per year are hosted in the CFA.
The Center for the Arts also presents a series of outstanding professional touring events in the Performing Arts Series. These performances have included Avenue Q, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Chanticleer, The St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Gaelic Storm, Bayanihan Philippine National Dance Company, The Blanks and many others.
