Dragon Boat Day will offer some fun events of cooking and dancing.  You will learn about the "Chinese tamale," which is wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves and thus resembles the western tamale. Inside the zongzi is glutinous rice and a filling that include, but not limit to pork, shiitake mushrooms, scallops, etc. that you are sure to love. Then come learn about the dragon boat, and participate in learning  a few fun steps of the “harvest” ribbon folk dance. You and your family are going to have a good workout and a fun-filled afternoon that will enlighten your day. You can register for both workshops or just pick one to attend.
