Life is Good

The days are too short and time flies by incredibly quickly. The biggest challenge is balancing personal health, recreation, academics, extracurricular and social activities. If I didn't have a student planner, I would be absolutely lost. My life is contained within those pages. The sporty UWP cover keeps me uplifted, positive and enthusiastic about life at UWP. It's fun to see your friends' pictures inside.

Changing Colors

My favorite memories are always in the fall. With the changing colors, cool days and school starting, I cannot think of a better way to spend my time on campus. I had a total blast being on Homecoming Court 2005. Not only was it a chance to participate in Homecoming events, I was able to represent the Student Ambassadors. Waving to little kids riding down Main Street in the parade, watching fellow students during the pirate games in the pool and attending the football game vs. UW-Oshkosh with my family were all highlights.

Off campus

I had a phenomenal internship with the Grand Chute Police Department during summer 2005. Through this experience, I gained valuable insight into careers in law enforcement and criminalistics. I also became a certified evidence technician.

Europe, anyone?

During the summer of 2004, I studied abroad in Heidelberg, Germany, at the Collegium Palatinum as part of an eight-week intensive language program. I was able to travel extensively in Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria. I made international friendships that continue today. I still keep in touch with friends from all over the world.
