Teaching at UWP is a great experience because the students are so wonderful! They work hard (both at school and in their "real" lives) and desire a better future for themselves. The faculty care deeply about the students. I think the students may not realize that the campus culture places students as priority one. This comes up again and again in faculty discussions and campus decision-making.
UWP offers students personal involvement. Your teachers learn your name and are interested in your learning and development. This is definitely not a campus where you can hide in the back row and not participate! Instructors and students greet each other on campus. Also, it's a great place to become involved in campus life. Active participation in student groups like Psychology Club is warmly encouraged.
