During Your Junior Year in High School...
- Attend College Fairs, and High School visits to speak with UW-Platteville Admission Advisor.
- Experience UWP by scheduling a Daily Visit or attending a Pioneer Preview Open House. Call 1.877.UWPLATT (1.877.897.5288) or 608.342.1127 to set up your visit!
During Your Senior Year in High School...
September
Apply! We start accepting applications September 15th.
Be sure to
confirm that your transcripts and ACT/SAT scores have been sent to UWP.
After you have been admitted, send in the
housing prepayment to reserve your room, also send in the $100 enrollment deposit to secure your place in the next freshman class.
January
Deadline for New Freshmen Scholarship applications is January 14th.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be completed anytime after January 1st. Applications are available from your high school counselor or the UWP Financial Aid Office (608) 342-1836 or 800-616-0412.
November
It's still not too late too apply!
Get
your application in, it's not too late. The earlier you apply, the better your chances are of being admitted and not being put on waiting lists.
Apply for scholarships
To receive a
scholarship application you must first be admitted.
February / March
UW-Platteville's priority filing date for Financial Aid is March 15th.
Watch your mail!
New Freshmen registration information will be sent to admitted students.
April / May
New Freshmen will be notified of any scholarship awards.
Placement tests offered regionally.
During the Summer Before College Starts...
