Welcome to the Forensic Investigation lab!
Welcome to Room 1013 Ullsvik Hall, home of the Criminal Justice Department's forensic investigation laboratory! We are very excited and fortunate to have the use of state of the art equipment within this lab which enables students the chance at hands on learning relating to the processing and analysis of physical evidence.
There are several classes within the Criminal Justice Department's curriculum which make use of the lab. These include:
- Introduction to Crime Scene Investigation
- Evidence Collection and Preservation
- Fingerprint Classification and Development
- Crime Scene Processing Techniques
- Investigative Photography
- Criminalistics
Each course has its own practical components which are able to be undertaken within the laboratory. Through this blog you'll have an inside look at some of the activities which occur within the lab pertaining to the documentation, collection, preservation, and analysis of physical evidence.
Once again, welcome to the lab.......
