Testing Accommodations

Private Study Room

The Testing Center offers testing accommodation services for students with disabilities who require alternatives to classroom testing. Testing accommodations are only for current students who have obtained a yearly Verified Individualized Services and Accommodations (VISA) certificate from Services For Students With Disabilities.

Students with VISAs should first meet with their instructors to discuss their needs. If the instructor is unable to meet your requirements you should then sit down with them and complete the Test Center Form together. Please submit the completed form to the Testing Center two to three days prior to the exam or one week prior to mid-term and final exams.

Testing Center Rules

No unauthorized aids (notes, calculators, bags, books, etc...) will be allowed in the testing room. This includes cell phones, laptops, iPods, iPads, MP3 players, or any other electronic device not authorized by the instructor. Use of any unauthorized materials or items will be considered academic misconduct and will not be tolerated.

Be on time. The exam will start and end at the date and time approved by your professor. Any time missed will not be made up.

Be prepared. Have a photo ID and all approved materials with you.

Any form of academic misconduct will result in the exam being stopped and the incident reported to the instructor for consideration.
