Proper Etiquette for Mealtime Interviews, Business Meetings, and Social Events

The Academic and Career Advising Center, Alumni Services and Dining Services typically host a Professional Etiquette Event each fall and spring for current UW-Platteville students.

During the 4-course meal, students have the chance to:

  • Network and exchange business cards (we make them for you)
  • Learn proper dining etiquette with each course of the meal
  • Listen to presentations on professional dress from a local clothier (separate presentations for women and men)
  • Socialize with your peers and alumni business leaders

Students must register in advance as there is a small cost to cover the cost of the catered meal. Meal plans are accepted for part or all of the payment.
